Creating Your Account

Get started with Chorvia in just a few simple steps.

Sign Up Methods

Chorvia offers two convenient ways to create your account:

1. Google Sign-In (Recommended)

  • Click the "Continue with Google" button on the join page
  • Select your Google account
  • Grant permission to Chorvia to access your basic profile information
  • You'll be automatically logged in and redirected to complete your profile

Tip: Using Google Sign-In is faster and you won't need to remember another password.

2. Email and Password

  • Click "Sign up" on the join page
  • Enter your first name and last name
  • Provide your email address
  • Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
  • Select your gender and age
  • Click "Create Account" to complete registration

Organization Accounts

If you're signing up on behalf of an organization:

  • Visit the join page and select "Organization login"
  • Complete the signup process as described above
  • Your account will have additional features for managing team members
  • You can bulk import members, create groups, and manage invitations

Accepting an Invitation

If you received an invitation from an organization:

  1. Check your email for an invitation from Chorvia
  2. Click the "Accept Invitation" button in the email
  3. You'll be directed to a signup page with your information pre-filled
  4. Create your password and complete your profile
  5. You'll automatically be added to your organization

Note: Invitation links expire after 7 days. If your link has expired, contact your organization administrator for a new invitation.

After Creating Your Account

Once your account is created, you'll be guided through the onboarding process where you'll:

  • Set your conversation preferences and interests
  • Choose who you'd like to talk to
  • Set your availability for group conversations
  • Get matched with your first conversation group

Troubleshooting

Email Already Registered

If you see an error that your email is already registered, you may have created an account previously. Try logging in instead, or use the "Forgot Password" link to recover your account.

Google Sign-In Not Working

Make sure pop-ups are enabled for Chorvia in your browser settings. Google Sign-In requires a pop-up window to authenticate.
